An Introduction (And my favourite 500 albums - so far)

Okay, so here goes. My name is Tony, though online I refer to myself almost exclusively as AxlReznor, because as a long-time member of various forums, (mainly those for Guns N' Roses related things like Velvet Revolver and Duff McKagan's Loaded) that's how a lot of people have gotten to know me.

Why did I create this blog? Well, a couple of years back I started a comprehensive list of my favourite ever albums. This is not as my girlfriend would have you believe, entirely due to a near-compulsive need to list everything, but also mainly as a way to force myself to listen to music I'd been meaning to listen to for ages and never managed to, as well as find some stuff that I never knew existed. But then I thought it would be pointless to go through all of this effort and not put it out there somehow. I've bored the forums I visit enough with my lists and random ramblings on the state of the world, etc. So I thought I'd put it on here instead, for those who are actually interested in what the hell I have to say, and what I think the 463rd best album of all time is.

What follows below is the result of all of this so far... it's going to be a constant work in progress, naturally so unless I lose interest I'll probably be posting a revised version annually.

Don't worry though, I do intend to use this as more than just a tool to post overly long lists no one gives a shit about. I'm not sure how often I'll post, but I fully intend to also post overly long diatribes that no one gives a shit about on subjects that only I give a shit about on here. Oh what fun any of you who actually read this have in store for you.
